ee4703 academic honesty policies
- All the rules of WPI's Academic
Honesty Policy will be in effect. You must review them and be
familiar with them. They describe procedures that will be taken if
dishonesty is suspected.
- Projects in ECE4703 will be completed by teams of two or three students
unless permission is obtained from the course instructor.
- Project signoffs and
reports are expected to represent the work of all team members. If you
feel that your team members is not contributing appropriately,
you must bring this to the attention of the course instructor.
- Project teams are permitted to discuss the general aspects of
the project including, for instance, the intent of the problem and
general methods with other project teams.
- Project teams are prohibited from discussing specific methods
and solutions with other project teams.
- No part of a project, including code, analysis, and results, may
be copied from any other project team or from sources other than a
textbook.
- Common libraries and include files may be obtained from the
textbook CD and/or the web. Parts of the project that represent your
code must be original and not copied from any source.
- When taking a class exam, make sure you sit at least one seat
apart from other students in the classroom. If you miss an exam for
any reason other than sickness (which must be documented) or another
documented emergency, you will not be allowed to make up the exam.
Plan your interviewing trips, travel arrangements (particularly at
the end of a term), and other scheduling conflicts
appropriately.
