ece531 academic honesty policies
- All the rules of WPI's Academic Honesty Policy will be in effect. You must review them and be familiar with them. They describe procedures that will be taken if dishonesty is suspected.
- Any suspected cheating on homework or exams must be reported to the instructor.
- Homework in ECE531 must represent your work.
- You are permitted to discuss the general aspects of a homework assignment including, for instance, the intent of the problem and general methods to arrive at a solution. You are prohibited from discussing specific methods and solutions for homework problems with other classmates.
- With respect to computer excercises, you are permitted to discuss general Matlab syntax and commands with other students in the class but you are prohibited from working in teams, jointly writing code with other students in the class, or copying code from any source.
- When taking a class exam, make sure you sit at least one seat apart from other people in the classroom. If you miss an exam for any reason other than sickness (which must be documented) or another documented emergency, you will not be allowed to make up the exam. Plan your interviewing trips, travel arrangements (particularly at the end of the semester), and other scheduling conflicts appropriately.
