The focus this week is on composite hypothesis testing and detection of signals with unknown parameters. The assigned reading is Kay VII, Chapter 6.1-6.4, 6.7-6.8. You are not responsible for the Rao or Wald tests, although you are encouraged to skim that material. The following screencasts and pdf slides may also be instructive.
